KIDS & TEENS YOGA
Teen Yoga – my time to shine – Term 1
(13 – 16 year olds)
Ages: 13 – 16 years
Dates: Tuesdays for 8 weeks (4th February – 24th March)
Time: 4.30pm – 5.30pm
Teacher: Amanda Pittard.
We all know the teen years are challenging. It’s a time of change and development, with internal and external influences causing stress and anxiety.
Our Teen Yoga classes will help your teen navigate and explore these pressures on a mental, physical and emotional level. During each class teens will be supported to grow and explore their self-identity, to build resilience and reduce emotional imbalances, and to promote a sense of inner calm and clarity.
Through games, music, movement and meditation, teens will be supported to build a healthy body image, connect with their inner self and improve their flexibility and posture. Their energy levels will be balanced, their confidence boosted and they will develop a greater understanding of their connection to the world around them, and where they fit.
Teacher Amanda brings with her a vibrant, fun and engaging style of yoga, inspiring creativity, imagination and most of all, enjoyment. Teens will be challenged to take risks, experiment and get outside their comfort zone under her guidance and in the safety of our studio.
