The Mindful Somatic Yoga Therapy & Embodied Group Process Retreat is a 6-night immersive retreat in the quiet highlands of Bali designed to support deep, lived transformation – not through force or overwhelm, but through safety, embodiment, awareness, and connection.

 

Blending my two programs – Mindful Somatic Yoga Therapy and Embodied Group Process – this retreat offers a carefully held, well-paced small-group experience integrating somatic therapy, psychotherapy-informed practice, nervous system regulation, embodied movement, mindfulness, and relational group process.

 

This retreat is for when there’s a sense something in you is ready to shift – when curiosity about yourself begins to feel stronger than the urge to simply keep pushing through.

 

This is not about endlessly retelling your story.
And it is not about being pushed beyond your capacity.

 

It’s about listening deeply, meeting yourself in real time, and experiencing connection in ways that allow new responses to emerge.

 

Everything is paced, invitational, and grounded in regulation.

 

Within this supportive environment, participants begin to:

Mindful Somatic Yoga Therapy is designed for embodied growth and self-understanding. It does not replace individual therapy or higher levels of care where needed, and is best suited to those who are able to remain resourced in a group environment, with the stability to stay present with their experience and explore with curiosity.

 

Depth here is paced and invitational – grounded in regulation, not overwhelm.

Bali Yoga Retreat

5–11 September 2026 | 6 nights / 7 days

This retreat is for those longing for relief – space, time for self, and the experience of moving, connecting, and simply being without constant interruption from the busyness of life.

 

Participants often arrive tired from holding responsibility, moving quickly, pushing through, and tending to others while rarely experiencing uninterrupted time that genuinely restores them.

 

Here, the shift is felt in the body. Breath deepens, the body softens, and the bracing that holds it all together eases. There’s less need to perform or keep up, and more room to listen inward. Perspective returns, and joy appears in ordinary moments – conversation, movement, stillness, connection with like minded people.

There is structure, but also freedom – space to rest, explore, connect, wander into Ubud, or do absolutely nothing without guilt.

Participants leave feeling more spacious, clearer about what matters, and more at home in themselves.

This is restoration that lasts because it’s experienced in every layer of your being (koshas) – the kind of embodied reset only immersion makes possible.

A beautiful wellness retreat set in the lush highlands of Tegallalang, Bali – just 40 minutes from Ubud – this Bali Yoga Retreat offers the Mindful Somatic Yoga Therapy journey within a held retreat environment, with the added depth of Embodied Group Process. Each day we work somatically and experientially, building nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and self-compassion through Mindful Somatic Yoga Therapy sessions, and then bringing this awareness into the relational field through guided group process. This retreat supports both inner and relational exploration – offering time to slow down, integrate learning in the body, and gently explore how patterns, emotions, and parts emerge in connection with others. Alongside structured sessions, there is still space for rest, reflection, and enjoyment, supported by nature, sound healing, massage, shared meals, and the beauty of the land. This is a deeply nourishing retreat where insight, regulation, and connection unfold through embodied practice, relational presence, and shared experience.

  • Travel insurance – Each participant must have their own travel insurance.
  • A passport with at least 6 months validity to enter Indonesia. (expiry after March 2027)
  • have spending money for Lunches, additional spa treatments (these are amazing!), additional activities and purchases

No yoga experience or flexibility is required for either retreat – suited to those who can stay resourced and engaged in a group setting while exploring their inner experience.

Mindful Somatic Yoga Therapy is an experiential course for embodied growth – designed for individuals and practitioners to enhance their somatic and embodied awareness.

Lunch:
You can order lunch from the pool side bar, the restaurant, from your spacious terrace or venture into town, the choice is yours.

Going into town:
If you wish to explore the town, including the market, the sacred monkey forest, the shops, the crafts and cafes, there is a free scheduled shuttle twice daily into ubud.
(or you could arrange your own driver for a fee)

Activities:
I have included activities in our timetable, but please remember, this is your time, be as active or as still as your heart desires. The resort is also more than happy to arrange additional activities for you, at your own expense, including an amazing on site cooking class, trekking, cycling, and so on if you desire.

You enter the most beautiful yoga pavilion and roll out your yoga mat. A deeper connection with yourself builds through your meditation and sincere yoga practice. Space and freedom unfold as you embrace the now and let go of what is no longer serving you. Waking from deep relaxation, you feel rejuvenated, restored and ready to face the day with a new sense of joy and a passion that sets your heart on fire. A luxurious spa and it’s beautiful practitioners await you, you slip into your robe and make your way to the treatment room, all the stresses melt away as your body is released of tension with a balinese massage. You float off the table and into the jacuzzi, where you melt a little deeper into sheer bliss. A restorative herbal tea helps to soften your gaze over the surrounding forest. Next-door is the gym, across the hall is the herbal steam room, maybe you’ll check those out tomorrow.

The sun goes down and lanterns, sprinkled across the resort grounds, provide an ambient light. You stroll the hill to our beautiful restaurant and bar. Healthy organic Indonesian and international meals fill the menu, produce sourced from the resorts very own organic gardens. You let out a whispered sigh, you really have arrived. You enjoy a wonderful meal, engaging company, lots of warmth and laughter and know that you are part of something very special.

Returning to your villa, you feel like royalty as you rest your head, close your eyes and sink into a deep sleep, ready to do it all again tomorrow….

 

To reserve your place at our retreat, an initial payment is required at the time of booking. Please note that $400 of this initial payment is a strictly non-refundable Reservation Fee used to secure your room and for venue commitments.

Venue Alignment: These windows (60/30/15 days) are fixed by our venue contract.

All guests are required to purchase travel insurance to cover cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances or travel disruptions.
