One of the most significant transitions in a woman’s life is the journey through menopause. For some, it unfolds gently. For others, it can bring waves of physical, emotional and mental change that leave you feeling unlike yourself.

Rather than something to push through or fix, Traditional Chinese Medicine views menopause as The Second Spring – a profound season of transformation, inviting greater wisdom, clarity and renewal.

In this nurturing workshop, Vickie will introduce you to the gentle practice of Qigong, an ancient movement practice that supports the body through life’s natural transitions.

Through mindful movement, breath and quiet listening, you’ll learn how to work with your body rather than against it, cultivating steadiness, ease and renewed vitality.

How Qigong Can Support Menopause

This practice may help to:

  • Improve sleep by calming a busy mind and helping the body settle
  • Ease hot flushes and night sweats by supporting internal balance
  • Reduce emotional overwhelm and encourage a greater sense of calm

What to Expect

We’ll begin by exploring how Traditional Chinese Medicine understands menopause and why this life stage is viewed as a natural transition rather than something to be feared.

You’ll then be guided through a series of gentle Qigong movements specifically chosen to support common menopausal symptoms and encourage greater balance throughout the body.

Throughout the session you’ll experience:

  • Gentle seated and standing Qigong movements
  • Breath awareness practices
  • Guidance on how Qigong supports the body during menopause
  • Opportunities to listen, reflect and ask questions if you wish
  • Practical ways to create a sustainable home practice

The workshop concludes with time to rest, integrate and reconnect with a quieter, more grounded state.
